TROUSERS  /  SHORTS  /  JEANS

TROUSERS
Organic Cotton & Convent. Cotton

All trousers and shorts made of cotton are easy to care and mashine washable.

Before cutting, all cotton fabrics are soaked in water to keep the shrinkage value to a minimum.
In addition, an experience value of 1-2 cm (depending on the fabric) only in length is added.

Machine Washing:

Fasten button/zip closure. Turn trousers inside out. Recommended washing temperature 30C°
Please use a low cylcle speed setting, 600 – 800 revolutions are enough and help to a longer durability. Pay attention to the capacity of your washing machine, the garments need some air, too full loads will cause creases/streaks on the fabrics.

Hand Washing:

Fill your bath with luke warm water and a little mid detergent (dissolve well). Leave the trousers about 30 minutes submerged inside the bath. Move them every now and then. Then rinse 2-3 time with clean water. Hand washing is the gentlest type of washing.

//

Do NOT use fabric softener. Do NOT use clothes dryer.
The use of organic detergents is an important contribution to the environment.

After Washing:

Do not wring out the trousers. Roll them up and press. Line drying -> Hang it up in the fresh air with the right side out and let it dry. If you iron your trousers, always inside out with steam.

Note for Corduroys:

Corduroys are quite dirt-resistant, brushing and airing is often enough. With corduroy trousers, it is particularly important to always turn them inside out and use low cycle speed, then the velvet surface of the fabric stays nice and soft.

DENIM – JEANS
Organic Cotton & Recycled Cotton

All jeans can be machine washed or hand washed.
An experience value of 1-2 cm (depending on the fabric) for possible shrinking (only in length) is added.

It is best to hand-wash your new jeans. Fill your bath with luke warm water and a little mid detergent (dissolve well). Leave the trousers about 30 minutes submerged inside the bath. Move them every now and then. Then rinse 2-3 time with clean water.

//

EtaProof® – TROUSERS
Organic Cotton

Brush out dirt and clean with a wet sponge if necessary. Regularly airing. Trousers made of EtaProof® should be dry-cleaned or washed as seldom as possible. Careful ironing at 2 points (heat treatment) reactivates the impregnation. Place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.

For re-impregnation I recommend “FIBERTEC – Textile Guard Eco“.

Dry Cleaning:

The gentlest way is to take it to an experienced dry cleaner. With the exact specification of the material (outer fabric EtaProof® made of 100% organic cotton & lining made of 100% organic cotton). The post-impregnation is usually included.

Hand Washing:

The manufacturer recommends hand washing. Fill the bathtub with lukewarm water and add a little liquid detergent (dissolve well). Put the pants in, move them every now and then, then rinse well with lukewarm water 2x times. Do not wring pants out! The pants feel stiff when wet right after washing, don’t worry, they will soften up again. Just hang it on a hanger or clothesline to dry, not in the direct sun. Do NOT use fabric softener. Do NOT use clothes dryer.

Original care instructions are included with your EtaProof® trousers.

LODEN TROUSERS
Sheep Wool

Loden trousers are easy to care for:

By regularly airing it out in the fresh air, at best at high humidity after a rain or in the bathroom after a shower, the wool cleans itself naturally and by itself. Unpleasant odors disappear as if by magic and the trousers return to their shape. A trouser hanger is recommended.

Dry dirt can be easily brushed out. Wash out stains with a cloth and curd soap. In addition, you can moisten a clothes brush with a light vinegar water and brush it from top to bottom, this binds the smell and freshens up the color. If the loden trousers get really wet, they should be laid flat on a towel to dry slowly. Please do NOT place them on the heater/stove.

If necessary, I recommend giving the loden trousers to a dry cleaner with experience.
With the specification of the material and the notice: “Please do NOT create a front crease!”.

LINEN & HEMP TROUSERS
Pure Linen, Linen with Hemp or Cotton, Pure Hemp

Regular airing, at night in the fresh air on a trouser hanger, is good for the fabric and keeps the pants in shape. It is important to iron your linen / hemp trousers, especially after washing them. This will make the fabric and seams flat again. Iron the trousers with steam on the inside or with a cloth in between from the outside.

Before cutting, all linen- / hemp fabrics are soaked in water to keep the shrinkage value to a minimum.
In addition, an experience value of 1-2 cm (depending on the fabric) only in length is added.

Hand Washing:

Hand washing is the gentlest type of washing your linen trousers. Fill your bath with luke warm water and a little mid detergent (dissolve well). Leave the trousers about 30 minutes submerged inside the bath. Move them every now and then. Linen needs a lot of water, the fibers must be able to swell. Then rinse 2-3 time with clean water.

Machine Washing:

If you want to wash the trousers in the machine, then please use a “gentle cycle”. Fasten button/zip closure. Turn trousers inside out. Recommended washing temperature 30C°. Please use a low cylcle speed setting, 400 – 600 revolutions. Pay attention to the capacity of your washing machine, linen trousers need air, too full loads will cause creases/streaks on the fabrics. (If the trousers are soaked in water beforehand and put into the machine wet, the fibers wrinkle less.

Dry Cleaning:

A gentle way would be to give the linen trousers to an experienced dry cleaner.
With the specification of the material and the notice: “Please do NOT create a front crease!”.

//

Do NOT use fabric softener. Do NOT use clothes dryer.
The use of organic detergents is an important contribution to the environment.

After Washing:

Do not wring out the trousers. Roll them up and press. It would be best to stretch the leg widthwise and lengthwise when wet. Line drying -> Hang it up in the fresh air with the right side out and let it dry. It is important to iron your linen / hemp trousers, especially after washing them. This will make the fabric and seams flat again. Iron the trousers with steam on the inside or with a cloth in between from the outside.

CLOTH TROUSERS
Suitfabrics in Wool & Wool / Terylene

Regular airing, at night in the fresh air on a trouser hanger, is good for the fabric. It keeps the shape of the trousers and the wool recovers. If necessary, iron from the inside or from the outside with a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric. Directly after airing, when the trousers are still slightly damp, makes ironing easier.

Dry Cleaning:

If necessary, give cloth trousers to a dry cleaner with experience.
With the specification of the material and the notice: “Please do NOT create a front crease!”

WORKER VESTS

VESTS
Organic Cotton & Convent. Cotton

Recommend regular airing. Dry dirt can be easily brushed out. Treat stubborn stains with a wet cloth/brush. If necessary, dry cleaning is recommended or gentle hand wash.

Moving it around occasionally, then rinse it thoroughly with water 2-3 times. Do not wring the vest after washing. Simply roll it in a towel and gently press out the water. Afterwards pull the vest into shape while still damp, along the seams and zipper. Ideally, let it initially dry flat on a towel. When the vest is only slightly damp, it can be finished drying on a hanger in fresh air. Please do NOT place them on a hot stove or radiator.
