We’re knitting again ::…
At the beginning of 2024, we, Eva Brandmaier from Berlin and INDNAT, have partnered with Achim Wünsch and his shoe company ‘halfs’ in Munich. Together, we will keep on developing the existing knitwear models and gradually work on new designs to offer a lasting knitwear collection that is independent of the season. The knitwear will be presented under the name halfs x INDNAT.
We’re starting with a crewneck and a zippered cardigan. The weight of the crewneck feels just perfect, offering durability without heaviness, and a smooth, comfortable feel, plus – it even smells good! The sweater will be available in 2 colours and 3 sizes. A zippered cardigan is already in the design phase. The cardigan will be slightly heavier than the crewneck, as well as with a focus on good fit, quality wool, and craftsmanship.
Crafted from superfine organic virgin merino sheep wool (KBT) – Nm 28/2 – sourced from organically farmed livestock. According to the manufacturer, the working conditions meet strict ethical standards, with the supply chain carefully monitored. Additionally, the dyeing process adheres to the highest certification standards.
The production of the knitwear takes place in Northern Germany on modern seamless knitting machines. The garments are knitted in one piece, meaning there are no seams, which results in a pleasant wearing experience as well as reduced weight. Moreover, there is – zero – wool waste during production.
The release date of the new collections will be announced through the newsletter and on Instagram. The knitwear will be offered exclusively through direct sales.
